The invitation

This isn't your typical retreat.

You've built. Made difficult decisions. Carried responsibility. Created meaningful results. Sometimes you need to get away from the meetings, responsibilities, notifications, and expectations — and challenge yourself in a completely different environment.

This isn't about fixing yourself. It's about finding your edge — and riding beyond it.

This adventure is for you if…

  • You've accomplished meaningful things, and have no interest in getting comfortable.
  • You value experiences over another seminar.
  • You're willing to challenge yourself physically and mentally.
  • You want to refill your own tank and gain a fresh perspective.
  • You want time with high-caliber leaders who are still growing too.

It probably isn't if…

  • You're looking for a luxury spa retreat rather than a desert adventure.
  • You'd rather skip the physical and outdoor parts.
  • You want leadership theory without challenging yourself.
The ride

You won't just hear about Baja's history. You'll ride through it.

Success doesn't eliminate fear. The stakes simply change.

Throughout the adventure, you'll use the Fear-to-Fierce™ Breakthrough System to recognize how fear shows up when you're pushing into your next level.

  1. Recognize your fear patterns, and how they show up as hesitation, control, over-striving, self-doubt and more.
  2. Understand the signal: what that fear has been protecting.
  3. Move. Turn fear into forward movement with your own way of responding differently at your next edge.

When the riding is done, we gather by the fire with other business owners, entrepreneurs and executives who understand what it means to carry responsibility.

Meet Carla Puentes

Founder of Fierce Leadership Adventures | Creator of Fear to Fierce™

Some people teach courage. Carla Puentes has lived what it means to find it when everything familiar falls away.

When the life she had spent years building took an unexpected turn, Carla found the courage to begin again. Rebuilding her life led to questions that still shape her work: Who am I beyond my familiar roles? What am I capable of? What becomes possible when fear no longer makes my decisions?

For more than 25 years, Carla has helped people confront fears and limiting beliefs. Her approach is direct, intuitive and deeply personal, grounded in one conviction: Fear is not the enemy. Allowing it to determine the direction of your life is.

“Your greatest accomplishments may have brought you here. But they don't have to define how far you can go.”

In their words

What people say about working with Carla

I attended the trip to Baja last March. Carla's warmth and wisdom immediately put me at ease to share. At the same time, having the opportunity to work with a leader like Carla, seeing her strength and courage throughout the trip made me realize that I could do more, much more, than I ever thought I could.

I believe, now, in my increased ability to handle new and/or difficult tasks or situations. I'm more comfortable in my own skin. And, honestly, now I am much more likely to welcome opportunities to push through fear. That was not the case before.

I would tell them they have a very special opportunity in front of them. They should do whatever they need to do to take it.

Rebecca Lease

My biggest takeaway still remains that I can choose peace at anytime instead of getting caught up in the chaos of life and that I am a dynamic and capable leader that shows up for myself and others. I discovered my true passion is being on horseback and have never stopped riding since returning home & become an experienced horsewoman!

I encourage you to step out in faith and step into the best version of yourself by working with Carla - as a leader she will speak truth and as your coach you will become empowered to go much further faster and achieve real life results for yourself!

Gigi Tooley

The transformation of my mindset, from fearful, insecure and hesitant, to doing it afraid at times til courage and confidence rose up in me.

Carla will help you to see the greater You inside. She will challenge you to face your fears and experience breakthroughs you never imagined possible. Borrow her belief in you until you believe it for yourself. Be brave and step outside your comfort zone. That's how you'll grow. Carla won't ask you to do something she hasn't done. She'll lead the way. Don't be afraid to follow.

Dawn EppPastor at Turpin Methodist Church

We have worked together for years through various different experiences. Several transformation experiences that truly changed my life and my perspective.

The biggest change is how I choose to approach situations. Instead of blocks derailing me for weeks or months I can now work through the situations in a few days to sometimes a few hours.

Take advantage of any and every experience. You'll be grateful. Carla is the real deal. Working with her can have an impressive impact on your life in the best way possible.
